From Our Home To Yours
Our puppies are whelped indoors and remain with their mother until they are ready to depart from us. Working from home enables constant supervision of the mother and puppies, ensuring that everyone receives proper care, engagement, and thrives daily.
Once the puppies are prepared to transition to solid foods, we create puppy smoothies using nutritious organic ingredients until they are ready to consume solid puppy food.
Basic/Potty Training
We initiate potty training at an early stage, utilizing reusable pee pads until the puppy is old enough to transition to outdoor elimination. During this process, we employ verbal cues such as “Let’s go outside,” “Let’s go potty,” “Good job,” and “Yes.”
Our training methods are rooted in the Puppy Culture protocol, where we engage in daily handling routines such as foot and ear rubs, mouth checks, grooming sessions, and toy introductions. These practices are implemented to foster both cognitive development and trust-building with both adults and children.
As the puppies mature, we gradually introduce them to various environments within our premises, including our yard and barn, and acquaint them with our chickens. We have a large yard they get to roam with the adult poodles. Additionally, we facilitate interactions with children to aid in their socialization. We regularly welcome visitors to assist in socializing the puppies, and we also expose them to car rides and outdoor adventures beyond our home. Throughout this process, our hands-on involvement remains constant, ensuring that they receive optimal care from birth until they depart from us, thus providing them with a solid foundation.
We welcome visitors once the puppies' eyes are open and they become mobile, typically around three weeks of age. At this point, we commence scheduling appointments for puppy selection. Kindly ensure your availability for picking out your new puppy once this process begins. Failure to do so may result in your slot being passed on to the next individual to prevent delays in the selection process.
